Ms. Judith Cahill

As an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Judith uses high quality evidence-based research to provide a high quality nutrition service to the patients at Inglis Medical Centre.  Having graduated from Victoria University with a Masters in Science and Dietetics, Judith is available for a wide range of conditions including weight loss, gatrointestional disturbances, allergies and intolerances, diabetes and general nutrition advice.

A resident of Sale for many years, Judith has spent the past few years away in hospital and public health settings and is now looking forward to the personal approach offered by Inglis Medical Centre, where she can help patients to better understand their dietary management and provide improved clinical outcomes.

In her spare time, Judith enjoys cycling and photography and growing her own vegetables.

The aim of the dietitian service is to translate health issues into achievable dietary modifications with a view to improving the overall health outlook.

A patient presenting with weight problems, diabetes, high cholesterol, or a variety of other health issues may benefit from some advice from a Dietitian. Appointment with a dietician includes a full assessment of the patient’s current diet, as well as information and advice for future improvements. There is an opportunity for any questions the patient has, further guidance and – most importantly – encouragement and support to continue with the plan. The Nutritional Assessment is also provided by qualified dieticians.
