Children

Our GP’s at Inglis Medical Centre care for children of all ages from birth onwards. We provide 6 week post natal check-ups for mothers and babies. We encourage you to bring your baby’s Green Health and Development Book to keep up to date on growth patterns and to record immunisations.

Immunisations

All infant and childhood vaccinations are available at the practice.

All children should be immunised against Tetanus, Diphtheria, Whooping Cough (triple antigen or DPT), Poliomyelitis, Chickenpox, Haemophilus Influenza B (Hib), Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR). These vaccines are a requirement for school entry in Victoria. Meningococcal and Hepatitis A and B vaccines are also available.

Hours for vaccinations are 9.00-11.30am, Monday through Friday. Arrangements can be made with the Nurse for alternative times. There is a 15 minute wait after vaccinations for the child.
