Due to the COVID19 Pandemic, on 11th March 2020, the Australian Government announced up to 100 GP-led Respiratory Clinics to keep patients with mild/moderate symptoms away from hospitals and other general practices. The Wellington Respiratory clinic was established by the Inglis Medical Centre (IMC) at 12 Inglis Street, Sale, in a separate part of the building to ensure any suspected cases of COVID 19 are managed in a dedicated isolated clinic, well away from Inglis Medical Centre regular functions. WRC provided over 30,000 consultations during the pandemic. The commonewealth project ended in 2022. Ing lis medical continued its committmenet to the community by establishing Inglis Infectious Disease clinic. We continue to provide care for all transmissable diseases and respiratory infections.
